As you can see, the plants are small. Most of them have a cage around them to protect from rabbits. Area A was planted 11/15/25 and is closest to the parking lot. It's a bit downstream or the parking area. The City is planning to build a boat ramp and we avoided the future construction area. Area B was also planted in November 2025 and is a smaller area downstream of Area A. Area C was planted 2/28/26 and is downstream of Area B just before the path turns toward the river. Area D was also planted in February 2026 and is along the fence after the path turns toward the river. Across the path from Area D is the Pocket Prairie.
We created an iNaturalist project to track the progress of the plants over time. Please take pictures of the plants or pollinators on the plants and add them to the project.
The picture shows where the plants are located in relation to each other, their scientific and common names, and the unique code we used in the iNaturalist project. The scientific name links to one of the iNaturalist observations.
